This frame has had a hard life but still plenty of life left in it. 1995 / 96 Super Ibex in the small size (I'm 5'9" with 32" inside leg and I would say I'm the biggest rider you would get on this frame size). The suspension bushes and shock are in good condition but something has fallen against the right hand side of the frame and make a dent above the a of Bianchi. The other problem is a previous animal of an owner clamped an undersized seatpost into the frame and crushed the rear of the seatpost tube. I pulled the seatpost tube back into shape and cut away any damaged alloy also extending the slot in the back of the seatpost tube at the same time. To cover up this damage and provide extra support around the damage area I filed a double seatpost clamp to fit over the weld at the front of the seatpost tube. I'm selling the frame with an extra long Zoom seatpost which again when fitted into the frame to below the joint of the top tube and seatpost tube provides extra support. A great frame to ride but the rear suspension is a little heavily sprung for my back back which is the reason I'm selling.
Also included in the sale are some period correct Marzocchi forks, don't know any history on these so you can factor in that they will need a rebuild.
Original Bianchi stem and STX front mech also included
REDUCED anybody give me £55 + postage instead of £75? (or collect from Newcastle-upon-Tyne)
