1995 Ibis TiMojo

that's suburb, even with the more modern wheelset in place. isn't the 122.5mm Syncros Ti bb sort of wide for the Revolution cranks? from what i've found in docs, it's suppose to take 117mm for mountain setup.

forks look awesome they way they currently are unpainted! 8)

as for the front hanger, how about a Syncros hang doggy?

or if you're going the custom route, how about something like this:

or maybe you can get your hands on a Ibis hand job hanger and fabricate something special! ;)

What's a Chris King 'wide body' ? I could guess its a bit bigger than a standard one but in what way ?

Thanks, the OD of the cups is about 4mm wider than typical, the cup height is about 2mm lower. The bearings have a bit larger OD and ID. 'Wide Body' is a term I was using to differentiate them from typical, I'm not sure what they were called officially or what year they were from. They don't have a logo and they are 1 1/8", I also have one with a GripNut, so they must be from the early to mid-90s.

Thanks, you're probably right, the axle length could be shortened. It's one of the items left to fine-tune.

I've thought about just putting a clear coat over them, but with just the clear they can still rust. The plan is to have the crown painted in gloss black to match the headset, and the legs painted in matte grey, like faux titanium. The bottom edge of the crown would be highlighted in white similar to the Ibis decals. It should end up sort of like this one.

I was actually going for something similar to first photo. Screenshot of the 'in-progress' design below. I'd like to keep it minimalist, so using steel instead of aluminum helps with that. Visually, the 2 bars tie in with bar clamps on the Grafton controls. For the finish, I'd like to get it black chromed, which should look similar to the headset.
