Thanks for the comments guys. Really pleased with the way this has turned out. Front end looks pretty low so may fit a new stem or a riser bar.

thanks mikee. the build was a pretty obvious one really. as pickle stated in his plans for the frame, i thought black components would/could look pretty good against such a vibrant frame.

I am not normally a fan of black - i tend to think it makes stuff look heavy, especially tyres and seatpost but i am pleased with the results.

.. forks are 1993 btw.
if you need some thicker oil I still have plenty to put in there.

i was tempted with single speed but thought it would be a nice build with gears. plus it is something i can bring on retrobike meets as a pretty much period build.

might swap the oil - need to see what they ride like first.
