1994 Kona Explosif

Oh come on, what's the explanation here? A size 18 1994 Explosif from a totally street-credible seller and it goes for £205.

There are people on here who would gladly pay more than that for a crankset and somebody can't find nipples quite the right shade of blue, and yet here is a classic bike in very good order that sells for less than a Halfords lash up.

One thing's for sure - this website may be successful, but if that Explosif is only worth £205, there can't be very much interest in retro bikes out in the wider biking community.

Ha ha  its a funny thing the way stuff goes like that mousemat couldnt shift his mint xc pro equipped explosif for ages that went for 350 in the end i think. this on i was watching but for some reason some Konas just arent that desirable if it were a splatter finish tbc era maybe would have done better? But yeah point taken very cheap!

I guess its the truth, a bike is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it, some one was only willing to pay 205 pounds for it an they got it, it was nice to see it go for a fair price, an not an over inflated price that some of his mates bid it up for him to a silly price, that then makes you think that all kona explosifs are worth hundreds of pounds.

HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THIS ONE - SPEND MY LIFE GLUED TO THE COMP AND THIS HAPPENS - ONLY £205 WHATS THE CRACK WITH THAT THEN? I SOLD A RIGID KILAUEA IN JAN FOR £335!!??

Well, I nearly bid on it, but it wasn't very original and I thought I would basically be buying an average frame for the money. Then I would spend heaps getting it 'right'. The pics were not great to be fair.
If it was , and maybe it is, in great nick, with better pics and more age related parts I'm sure it would have sold for more.
