not had a bike for a good few years, so decided to get an old kona - this popped up on ebay and i went for it! (spent days/nights drooling over here and ebay)

I think it is a good deal, but selling a bike on a collect-only basis is really a bit of a lottery. TBH I was slightly surprised that it made as much as it did, but had it been well presented and postable I suspect you might have had to go slightly over £200 for it. So definitely a very good buy, but this nice 93 Lava Dome is an example of the impact that collect-only can have on the value of a bike - that really is quite cheap for a Kona.
