It will be no secret that I like a retro DiamondBack and I have a particular liking for the later TT lite frames - so was unable to forego this one :

sadly a little too pitted to retain the original finish but the frameset is undamaged and in fine shape nonetheless - off to Cyclone for a transformation...

Build up - with some old and some new:

1x Drivetrain using FSA 39T octalink cranks and chainset
Deore 10s shifter and rear mech + 11-46T cassette
Retro Deore XT hubs and wider freehub for above
Ritchey 1 1/8 ahead set
XTR BB octalink
LX cantis front, STX cantis rear
sundry other parts from my burgeoning stockpile of bits

95% there
now hanging in my workshop while I debate whether its a keeper and if so, what I might change - repro Panaracer Smoke may be the next adjustment as I think it should have some 90s tyres

It's a 1994. Serial starts U4 but what's the full number please? Just curious if it's older or younger than mine! Might also help to see if frames were made in batches. Ta!
