Time to slim down the bike collection.
I bought this Cannondale as a complete bike off a colleague about 15 years ago. I had planned to turn it into a trials bike but on the first ride the chain snapped and I never got round to building a trials bike. Fast forward to 2009 and I moved house and needed a commuter bike so but this up as a rigid bike for getting to work. Then in 2004 I fell off and snapped the mech hanger. I stripped the bike but replaced the hanger and it has stayed like that since.
It has obviously been repainted to a good standard but it does have some chips and the stickers are obviously not correct. When I built the frame up I had a headset reducer put in so I could use a standard 1 1/8".
Not sure what sort of price to ask for the frame but it comes with original forks, original headset, vp components headset and the headset reducer. Make me an offer.
Other parts I have are (prices +postage):
Cannondale fatty R forks. Slight scratch on 1 fork leg, headtube 185mm want around £50
Damaged XT M735 rear mech £5
Damaged repaired DX front mech £5
Pair Mavic X517 wheels on deore hubs non-disc hubs, built by Dave Hinde may need truing/servicing. £30
