Yesterday I collected this Cadex CFM-2 from 1994. It is in very nice shape. Maybe used a couple times (on road !) when new and stored on the attic since then. It is an 18" frame. That is okay for me, but I will need a 400mm post and a somewhat longer stem if I plan to ride it. Current post is 350mm and the Sakae stem is only 110mm. It will make a fast bike.

It is 100% original, bar the purple bull bars. The original owner told me he had that changed by the shop when he purshased the Cadex in 1994.

Re:

Really like the look of this one... will be watching this build. Very nice colour and seems in great fettle already.

It is a 760GLE, the more luxurious six cilinder variation of the 940's predecessor 740. The bike fits in the thrunk without a problem.

Re: 1994 Cadex CFM-2

The 1994 Cadex CFM-2 in this topic is not my first Cadex. I had a Cadex CFM-3 of the same model year in 1994/95. More recently I acquired a 1994 PS-S1 and 1993 CFM-1. Interesting bikes, but their condition was not what I was looking for. A couple months ago I acquired a 1992 CFM-1 frame and forks. It is in very nice shape and I do like the colour combo.

Re: 1994 Cadex CFM-2

I am currently in the proces of rebuilding the 1994 Cadex CFM-2. I chose for a slightly longer Tioga Alchemy stem. It came from a Cadex PS-S1 of the same year.

Jimo, the bike is in excellent condition :)

Btw when working on the bike I discovered it is a true bee magnet. The Cadex brand has a lot panache among bees.
