1994 AMP B3

Another one pretty much there, at last!

Cable tie on rear booster will be going as soon as I've completed the modifications to the booster itself [cutting a bit out basically].

Build is a mix of lightly used, and some NOS kit I had squirrelled away for the build, knowing one day I would find the right B3... :)

Syncros headset and Pro Series bars, ODI Yeti grips, SRAM Rocket shifters, Manitou stem up front with a pretty scarce to find AMP top cap.

IRD seatpost and Flite saddle to the rear.

M737 front & rear mechs and chainset, with obligatory Onza H.O pedals.

Brakes are Hope C2 with Pro levers, completely rebuilt with new pistons and seals all round, and Goodridge hoses.

Wheels are Mavic D521 rims with Hope XC hubs and 5 bolt spiders, Hope QRs, and Onza Rip & Rail tyres.

Looking forward to taking this out on the weekend - a long time coming, and basically my ultimate dream build I've been planning for about 20-odd years!

Longer term I'll be replacing the rear shock with a Risse Terminator, but for the time being it's in excellent condition and working well so can stay.

Just thought I'd share, as during my 'decade and a bit' on here I don't think I've really posted many pics of my bikes, and today is a sunny Tuesday.

As a 'hopeful' aside, if anyone has or knows of an old AMP jersey for sale, please give me a shout!

It needs to nestle in my bike area. It has a non telescopic fork, so would fit right in.

It sits between 2 immaculate barely ridden 'Works Special' Whyte PRST bikes, so is already well nestled with like-minded siblings!
