1993 Zaskar Build

After cleaning the car last weekend I thought I would take the opportunity to give the GT a bit of a clean.

I was having an issue with the front V-Brake in which the cable was slack and dropping on to the tyre, I adjusted the spacers on the pads which enabled me to add a bit more spring into the brake arms and keeps the cable tighter so I can cross that off the list now, with that fixed the bike is riding really nicely and this is 100% my favorite setup and look that it has had.

I am still searching for a lockout lever for the front shocks after losing it a while ago, I found a 3D print file online and had it printed in work but sadly it wasn't quite right so the search continues.

Little update...

Removed the current decals and gave it a little polish. Wasn't really in need of one but I figured while i've got a bare frame its rude not to

Tomorrow im going to wash it all down and make sure its nice and clean and maybe apply my new decals (thanks to Gil_M for them :D )

Once the new decals are applied i'm going to give it a few coats of my car wax to hopefully keep it shiny.

Some pics..

That looks stunning, Ian! I had a 1993 Zaskar LE, bought as a frame only BITD, built it up and sold it later on, biggest regret ever!
I'd love to get another early 90's Zaskar again one day!
