1993 WTB Phoenix (Updates on Pg 2)

Updates

Some updated photos with a major step forward towards my final planned build configuration. Frame, fork, and stem repaint by Chris Dekerf with decals from SSSInk. The frame and lower fork legs were done in the original white with the stem and the fork crown and stem painted in midnight blue pearl. Next steps are to build-up the wheels with the WTB Classic hubs and fabricate a custom WTB-style seatpost. The black Syncros seatpost looks a bit out of place currently but I think the polished aluminum seatpost I have planned will fit the overall look of the built.

That's a stunner Crispin. Love the paintwork :)

Very nice! What are your plans for the seat post? Are you making it yourself or commissioning it?

Thanks, the seatpost would be a copy of the one you have for your Phoenix with the Suntour head and the aluminum shaft. I don't have access to a lathe currently, so I'll either wait or get someone to fab the parts.

lush paint. great to see the true wtb spirit going.
Don't say this much but can't wait to see this one get splashed in mud!
