My 1993 Roberts D.O.G.S B.O.L.X
After much deliberation, I have finally conceded and facing up the the reality that I’m too old and knackered for this outstanding piece of engineering, so it’s finally time to ride to the dark side and put a deposit down on an EV bike.
I had this made in 1993/4 with help from M&J Cycles in Brighton, who did the final build up including wheels using all the best components I could afford at the time.
Fillet Brazed Frame painted the Aston Martin colour used on the AM DB7 launch signature bike, that was essentially a D.B. Team in red with Aston decals.
Flite saddle with Titanium rails
X lite Titanium seat Post and handlebar
Ringle stem and bottle cage
Mag 21 forks, still have the air syringe
XT top and bottom race
XT crankset and bb
SPD’s quite new but will throw in the original XT SPD’s if I can find them
Mavic SUP wheels with XT hubs front and rear
