@br0qn Thanks , I think it's done, for the time being at least (are they ever really truly finished ) I'll play with the fork as I ride it, although I seem to have mislaid my shockpump, it's holding pressure which is a good start!
This got dismantled a while back because I wanted the bits for other bikes, realised I had everything to rebuild it so did. Not quite as exotic but that's fine. Exage ES, Zoom/Kalloy finishing kit. Still rides nice (bigger tyres will appear eventually) just not as light.
Still a beaut that . 93 prestige’s are great nimble bikes.. owned a couple in the past, in terms of ride quality, my favourite off-road Retro Orange, and have ridden various clockworks from 89-93, Prestige’s 91-93, Alu O’s, Formula etc..
@Cheshire1980 thanks, it does have a nice ride quality, it's got a spring to it. It's also the lightest full steel frame I own at 1840ish grams, which may have something to do with it. I think I'm going to put the rigid fork back on, that's only 700g so will knock a chunk off and suits it better than the Mag 21 I think. It doesn't really need suspension for the riding it will see.
