1993 Klein Adroit - Sunburst

Hooked on this bike and the draw to write another (shorter) thread is too great.

I can’t take much credit for this build as it was my predecessor who took the time to put it together to perfection, I would say.

I didn’t buy it complete as seen. It came without wheels.

I had some grey NOS Campagnolo Atek rims and I sourced the King hubs from the US and had them built with Sapim CX Ray spokes. The wheels are business. The SRP ti cassette (silver alloy spacers) finishes it off.

In fact the whole package is the business.

I cabled it but I’m yet to add a chain. That will happen when I find the right black chain. Should be nice.

Crikey thats an absolute stunner and you could eat your dinner off of it. Very classy and understated finishing kit as well with all the Grafton parts.

My favourite Klein colourway too.

Never seen carbon saddle rails before - are they sleeves around a metal wire?

The tune speedneedle saddle is a carbon seat and Kevlar rail. I Freakin love it

Aah Kevlar, should have worked that out with the yellow/black. I'm guessing it needs bolting down or it'd float away.

I can't get comfy on a flite anymore, so lord knows what one of those is like to ride! Certainly looks the part with the Tune post.

I know it doesn’t look it but it’s the most comfortable saddle as the shape allows for less pressure on the soft spots if you get my meaning. I use them on everything. Check out some of my builds
