I don't know about it matt, but the shifter cable stopper look 93 model

Yes think so !

As mentioned previously mine is 0893 but had 94 decals, so think they possibly stockpiled them later in the year or started to build the next years model. So the frame number is when it was built rather than when it was sold.

Think its almost certainly 1994, if they were making 94s in August 93 and yours was made in October.

Its a 1993 frame for the 1993 model year.

1994 frames had smaller and more 'normal' cable guides on the down tubes

See what you mean LGF, though it seems odd that a later frame would have earlier cable
guides. But having worked in manufacturing they might have run out of new style that day
and reverted.

PS what you mean your decals fell off... I practically had to dynamite my 1994 set off
