1993 GT Karakoram

This is what it looked like new. (see picture). That color was called "Black Light" Not really a splatter paint scheme, more of a chemistry mix. Have visited the paint factory in Taiwan that came up with most of the outstanding paint jobs from that era and their sample tube room was amazing. Not sure who got it but shipped this NOS frame to the UK a year and a half back. Some of the original "Black Light" paint jobs on Karakoram's were a tad more purple than blue.

Massive and unapologetic thread hijack because I know the GT lovers are watching this thread and my wanted ad hasn't helped.
I need a crossover cable guide that fits on the seatpost on the GT u brake frames. I need the small one that fits the steel frames (28.6?) not the larger one that fits the Zaskars and other Alu frames. Exactly the same that's on this lovely bike.
It's the only thing that is stopping me finishing my Tequesta.
If you can help please PM me. Thanks.

Oh and that original blue paintwork is gorgeous. I would love to get one in original condition.

What is it worth to you?

Well I've been on a very tight budget so far so I can't spend too much. I was rather hoping there would be quite a few around but it appears this is not the case. :-(

It's not a must have item. You can still run your straddle cable around the seat tube and it will work fine. You'll just want to make sure you keep the pads close to the rim when setting it up. The whole concept behind the cross over cable guide was to reduce the pull required to brake.
