1993 Dawes Response

This is my first post in here so hope the bike is deemed worthy of having its own thread.

I picked the bike up last night from Grimsby for what I thought was a very reasonable £70.

Pics will be up when Ive replaced the bar tape but other than that and the tyres the bike is completely as it left the Dawes factory.
The previous owner fitted full length mudguards which I had planned to remove but I'm now thinking they are probably best left on for rainy days.

Well I've had to change the saddle as it was torn and the new bar tape has just arrived from CRC.

Pedals are now spds unfortunately as I cant ride flats and don't have a any proper road shoes.

The rather large mudguard reflector is also gone.

A few more pics now Ive made the few changes needed. Its still not washed and polished as I've been riding it but its not looking too bad.
