1993 Condor Cadenza

Thank you very much, I hadn’t seen that before 👍🏻.

I’m well on with the build, I’ve gone with a Salsa stem, but I couldn’t find a nice enough roller version so we’re on hold at the moment as I can’t find a suitable cable hanger!

I bought a new Paul ‘Funky Monkey’ for it, but I really don’t like the look of it when fitted.

Just need @synlos to make another batch of WTB style hangers now….
A Salsa stem would be a good fit for this frame as the Condor has a tenuous link to Salsa…
The Salsa a la Carte was built from Columbus Cromor OR tubing, same as your frame.

Thank you, an A La Carte is one of the few frames that have evaded me so far, I’ve been after one for a while.

I couldn’t find a Salsa stem with a roller in a sensible rise and length without taking one off another of my bikes, so I’ve fitted the non roller version and a dia compe hanger in the headset stack. I took the Salsa decal off the drive side, you can just see the non drive side one in the photos…

The last remaining part for this build arrived this weekend, hoping to get this finished and test ridden this afternoon.

I’ve been looking for an M735 XT front derailleur in a condition that I can live with (most of the parts are unused or close to) I’ve had a very good 34.9mm version of this mech for months, but had been informed that it wasn’t possible to swap the clip for the 28.6mm version as the profile of the body of the pivot was different, however as can be seen below. they’re identical so I can use the original version I have with the correct clip from the one I picked up from eBay.

Looking forward to getting this finished!
