nice bike!!! i'm rather interested indeed. can you tell me what kind of tubing this is and more about the history of the frame, please?

thanks

craig

ps i see your username and was wondering if you ever found a successful treatment for it?

Colnago

Hi Craig - it's Columbus SL and originally had some chrome work around the head lugs and rear chain stays before being "buffed", primed and refinished.

The frame is surprisingly light but remains very comfy. It is not as uncompromising as a Master at slower speeds so would suit someone "not so fast" (like me).

I have training wheels for this; Ambrosio Nemesis clincher on 1996 Record silver 10sp hubs with ACI spokes which are brand new and Open Pro Ceramic on Ambrosio hubs with ACI spokes which have done about 500mls.

Take your choice!

PS: I find changing one's socks frequently prevents "lelobysfoot".

Wheels

2 pairs of wheels;

Ambrosio Nemesis clincher on Record.

Open Pro Ceramic on Ambrosio with Challenge Paris-Roubaix 27mm.

very very very very nice! I haven't seen a bike that nice for a while! And it's nearly my size, which makes it harder!

good luck with the sale!
