I bought this frame from a local seller who turned out to have an amazing collection. I've been searching several years for a 19" to come around. It has a small dent in the top tube and the paint was fairly chipped up as well as the decals.

A local shop that I used when I painted half my car color matched the paint and made me a little touch up bottle. It's nearly spot on so I went around and touched it up. Also got some re-pop decals from JimboToad in Vancouver.

I'm doing an XT build as much as possible. Some new old stock like the hubs and headset, most used. So happy to be getting to this! :) :)
Still have some stuff to sort but for the most part I have everything, will update this list as I go.

So I found this little canti cable stop for my brakes after rummaging through a little bin full of stems at a community bike shop. Been Looking all over for a problem solver.

Main issue is the Controltech stem has no provision for canti brakes.
Other issues Issues I had besides not wanting to change stems were that these p2's aren't drilled for a lower stop and I didn't feel like doing that. There isn't enough steer tube to sandwich a stop in my headset, and finally I don't want to shell out big bucks for the Paul Funky Monkey. So here you have it.
I can proceed now.
