1992 Yo Eddy Team Violet build begins - Updated 11/24/11

Pulls up a chair. Another Yo build nagging me to finish mine

Can't go wrong with M900. I am firmly in the silver seatpost camp personally.

really nice build but i vote against the syncros seatpost. its too new (its a late 90ees model) and a silver post would be a better match.
suggestions:
syncros titanium post (but i think they were not avaliable in 29,4mm)
ringle moby in silver (would be perfect imho)
ird seatpost in silver

Syncros Ti posts certainly were available in 29.4 as I have one here but I would still be tempted with a silver post, an M910 Easton post would be good but theyaren't easy to come by in good condition at a reasonable price and that is a post that i've never seen in 29.4 so you would need to shim it.

Fantastic bike, Go with both seatposts one pic finished with the black syncros seatpost set up and one with a different silver seatpost and put it up for a vote

I also chose to go with a black Syncros (over a silver Thomson) and a black Hyperlite (over a silver one) - any thoughts??

If you're using those wheels, I'd go with the silver hyperlite and try to find a silver syncros (use the Thomson if not?). I always think a bike looks much better if the seatpost and stem/handlebars match the rims.

Here are some pics of the finished product. Looks like the bike is going to a new home as early as this weekend.

This was a really fun build and I can't wait to get my own Large Yo Eddy put together. The Medium is definitely too small for me.
