1992 Trek T100 Double Cross

Just measured up, it can fit a 43mm tyre in the back. I think 35s are a bit small even though they are the originals!

Hmm might need more braking than cantilevers.....

Since the headset is 1.25, a reducer in the top will make a modern taper disk suspension fork work.....

May be getting ahead of myself here, my wife has refused to ride it!

Haha this is strictly a flat bar Gravel tandem

Although I could get a disk mount welded on then might fit a proper size 650b tyre in the back

Hmmm

Nice. I've got a Fisher Gemini tandem and they are good fun, but surprisingly tricky to master off-road.

Hehe, I know what you mean. One slow-mo trip around the bike charity car-park on a Dawes MTB tandem and my missus firmly said 'NO'!!!!!
Good luck with the persuading!

Nice bike!

My missus hates speed - go down the odd hill round here and I'm waiting at the bottom. My aunt and her departed husband did thousands of miles (at speed) on a Flying Gate tandem - the most beautiful and rapid bike I've seen and been on and how they loved cycling together on it. Good luck tandeming!
