I don't know how much shipping to the states would cost, but I'd be interested if you decided to go that route... or if you decide to split I'd buy the decelerators in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the offer jp, I'd be nervous of shipping a full bike overseas, dunno why - I've done it for a frame in the past but still? Also secondly, and rather esoterically you don't see many in the UK so I'd rather it stayed on these shores just to represent slingshot over here! Does that make any kind of sense when trying to sell a bike - I guess not.

I don't want to take the thread off topic too much, but I've always been curious about how slingshots feel - do you feel any benefits from the springy frame, or is ir more a case of this being simply awesome in the looks department?

You definitely feel benefits, most noticeably over choppy ground.
