Retro Newbie
Hi There, looking to see what my Rocky Mountain 1992 Blizzard is worth.
Back story: Bought this bike from a woman who wanted it built up, It was still in the OG box with all the packing material. I took it out and started to build it up and realized it was a old Rocky Mountain Blizzard, looking outside the box found it was a 92. This bike has everything in tact from new SPD still in the box, signatures from all the builders,(frame, paint, wheels, etc.) Tires still have the little rubber things on it, no sign of rot. Well I can go on, this bike is new a 23 year old new MTB, I haven't seen anything like this, my LBS hasn't either,so here we are need some help on worth I have some pics here.

All white with green letters. Is this a special paint scheme? Saw some pics here but adds were all two tone black/white.

OG sticker on rear derailer :o

This is all the initials still attached to the frame with plastic tie.

Re:

This is an incredible find. And impossible to value as there simply is no reference. I can't recall a NOS '92 Blizzard passing by. Not even as frame only. If you want to sell it for market value, then list it on Ebay, make plenty of good pics, let it end on a Sunday evening and advertise the sale here. Possibly with a reserve.

Also great to see the Blizzard serials for this range start with a T! We've had some debate on this in the past. :-)

Thanks troje,
I may do this but still have no idea how much to put as a reserve? The cost new back in 92 was $1800 Canadian. Do I covert into todays cost? Do you know if there is much interest? Thinking of contacking Rocky Mountain if they would want it for there archives? Is there there a MTB museum anywhere?

Thanks anyway Alex

There is a MTB museum, MOMBAT/ First Flight Bicycles. Maybe the MB hall of fame too. There's gotta be some R.M. devotees here that would love to have it too.

Re:

Make more as parts still.

How much did you bolt on?

It'll not make old money prices even if that is cheaper now. At least over here in the UK.
(As they where damn expensive over here £1400 hand written on the catalouge viewtopic.php?t=39609)

Would seem a bit a shame to breakup such a rare find. :( BUT, it's yours so no one can make that call but you. :)
Interesting the fork is different in the cat. pic as well as the black T.T.
