1992 Raleigh Apex 19" £26 SOLD

I have coaxed the shifters back in to life now. The bike looks original, aside from the bar-ends right down to the cables, brake pads and tyres :shock: The seatpost and stem move ok, the wheels are straight and true. It doesn't feel like my old Summit so up for grabs at the price I paid. Original brochure with all the specs here:

SP.. I applaud your honesty in keeping that in one bit at the same price. a whole bike for the price of 2 halfords tyre.

I'd really like not to have the hassle of posting, we'll see how it does this week. Also, commuting kills bikes, I'd be a shame to do that to it and it really needs Tlc to be a daily rider, would you trust 2 decade old cables and brake pads?

Fair enough, my friend. I'll have to disagree with you on the 'commuting kills bikes' quip though, I tend to be of the opinion that at least they're ridden, which is more than can be said for a great portion of the RetroBikes out there *No offence to the Garage queen aficionados, I greatly admire your restorative spirit in fact, but it just isn't my thang*.
