Right then... It's finished for now and ready to ride Couldn't resist taking some pictures today as the weather's lovely. Still planning to use my RC30's or 35's but they're not ready yet. Current spec is as follows:

Frame: 1992 Orange Vitamin T, 21".

Fork: Orange Aluminium.

Headset: Shimano XT
Stem: Syncros
Handlebar: Answer Hyper Lite.
Grips: Yeti.
Barends: Answer Hyper Ends.

Brakes: Shimano XTR M900.
Brake Pads: Nothing special.
Brake Cables: Shimano Deore.
Cantilever cable hangers: Nothing special.
Brake Levers: Shimano XTR M900.

Shifters:
Front Derailleur: Shimano XTR M900.
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XTR M900.
Derailleur Cables: Shimano Deore.
Cassette: Shimano XTR M900, 8sp.
Chain: Sram.
Cranks: Shimano XTR M900.
Crank Bolts: Yep, got some.
Chainrings: Shimano XTR M900 large and small, Pace middle.
Chainring bolts: Got some of these too.
Bottom Bracket: Shimano UN90? XTR.
Pedals: Modern Shimano SPD's.

Hub Skewers: Not sure but light.
Rims: Mavic 217 SUP.
Hubs: Hope Ti front, Hope Alu rear.
Nipples: I have two but you can't see 'um.
Spokes: Not sure.
Tyres: Tioga Wonder Dawg 1.95.
Tubes: Nothing special.

Saddle: Flite Alpes.
Seatpost: USE Titanium.
Seatpost Binder: Purple thing.

Weight:?????????

Stunning

I'm sure you don't care, but I'd love to know the weight with that fork fitted. Just looking at the build spec it can't weight more than 21-22lb, unless the tyres and tubes are absolute bloaters or the fork is not a light as I think.

Tyres are nearly new and cleaned up really well. Came off a £50 1991 Diamond Back bargain. All the kit on it was hardly used (as various members of the site who snapped up the bits will tell you )

Don't have a good enough set of scales to weigh it on yet but I'll find out soon and post it up. It's the lightest bike I've ever had though. First one I've riden that makes you feel your carrying your own bulk up a hill instead of the bikes!

Cheers pal, it rides really well

Next one..... Well, the grey Clockwork doesn't need much work so that'll be finished first then I'll finally get round to finishing the polishing on the Elite. Must admit though, after selling all my orange/white fade content my house is missing the day-glow so am on the look out for another. Probably Prestige or 'O' but must be in good original nick so it might take a while. :roll:
