1992 ORANGE CLOCKWORK FINALLY COMPLETE

My November 1992 Clockwork is finally finished, had to replace the original amber wall Specialized Ground Control tyres, with a more modern WTB Amber walls, but look equally as nice in my opinion. The only over part changed is the Kalloy post fitted is replaced for a little bling with a USE period correct orange coloured post.

The bike is setup with original Lx groupset, with original cables and blocks. It has all the Orange branded products, Stalk stem, hot rod bars and the super comfy Orangel seat, not everyones cup of tea! The wheels are Mavic 231 rims. Overall the bike rides well, a little heavy but a good solid rider! Now hit the Wood!!

Both of you have given me lots of inspiration in your past and present builds. brocklanders I have really enjoyed reading through your build threads, some fantastic bikes on there. And Mark I think your quite modest in regards to your collection, some rare and brilliant builds, especially the Vit T & Elite bikes, absolutely impeccable and some of my favourite bikes on retrobike!

I know what you mean about the saddle, a Filte or Turbo usually oust the Orange one but good to see a mint one again..

Glad for positive feedback.. as I was silly enough to enter it for botm, Orange's track record on botm is fairly poor looking at the archives..

I'd love an old Orange but you just don't find them here in Oz. Might have to try and grab one next time I'm home.
