1992 Orange Aluminium Elite frame. Withdrawn from sale.

Hello all. with regret I have to move on my 1992 Orange Aluminium Elite frame + parts. Had planned on this being my next build but I need cash to get my 5 back on the road so something's got to give

It's a 19" frame so should fit most people. The frame is in good used condition with no damage or dents. I think the laquer's good enough just to polish and use but it could also be stripped to bring back to showroom condition. Included in the sale is a virtually new 1 1/4 Stronglight headset, reducers so you can run a 1 1/8th headset, a new seat post clamp, bottom bracket in good nick and a set of Gils decals.

I would like £105 posted to the UK for everthing. Considering the parts + decals would cost around £40 I think the price is fair. Payment by paypal gift prefered, more pictures and info available on request. First to PM saying they defo want it wins!!

Not sure to be honest mate, think you're about right. These were light weight flying machines bitd so ride quite racey.

What have you done to your five btw? - I recently had a massive 'off' on my '11 five and completely bent the front wheel and bars! Should get it back tomorrow in time for d2d but facing an expensive repair bill for a maxle rebuild. Even ripped the thread out of the star nut in the crash... Didn't think it was possible?!!... Some really nice 'brunette' answer bars as replacements though. Teeth still intact. Wallet has taken a battering instead.

Good luck with the sale. If I didn't already have a minter 'elite' I'd be 1st on the PM.

Had decided to sell the 5 and get an ex-demo so sold the XTR groupset and forks. Spent too much money chasing women and 'socialising' so now can't afford the ex-demo

Decided to build the 5 back up so got some DT Swiss forks and am about to buy a groupset but need to pay for them hence the sale I know I shouldn't shed the retro goodies to fix the 5 but I love it and ride that far more then my retro gear

Glad to hear you're ok after your off. These modern things cost loads to fix though. Looks like the Clockwork frame might have to go so you've got first dibs mate
