1992 Nevil Devil

I'm sure I've got a review of a full suspension Nevil in an MBA somewhere. Think it was in one of their 'shootouts', maybe for Amp-based frames?

Casper, thanks for the link....wish I could read it  18 pounds though, wow. Mine weighs in at 22 1/2. I noticed the onemin the article seems to have the same rear dropouts as FF's light blue one...mine are a compeletely different style. I know Neville made a couple of different models, but don't know what the differences were.

BeepBeep, I'd love to see the article if you could scan it.

I do recall seeing a Nevil with a stem with a flower on it in a German mag. Very cool. I think the bike was the Airmet one. On that material: I remember Chris Chance saying it is the metal of the future in another issue of that same mag.

Btw Ernie's leight weight project in the old mag issue is failed ('mislukt'). He were looking for ultra low weight without doing serious consessions to durability. He tried to achieve 8kg, but he couldn't get lower than 8.3kg in the end.

A few other Nevil pics from internet...

I'd love to see more if anyone has them.

Scans of brochures and articles would be great too.

This is the stem I made mention of on the previous page. It is a Sycip stem on a Nevil bike.

Very cool...thanks for posting.
If the "L" is the end of Nevil it must be really long...any more pics?
