Following on from post few days ago:
1992 (I thought it was 1991 but am corrected) Kona Cindercone 19" frame. Purchased a year or two ago to build a rigid commuter but lost interest. Ignore the previous post about it being in primer, I`d forgotten why I gave up on the project, read on!
Red paint was very tatty so I stripped it with nitromors, removed the rack lugs to clean the look of the bike up, and had a friend TIG weld a cable stop onto the top tube to allow the use of modern V brakes.
I then resprayed it, then left it to dry and found someone had moved it while the laquer was still soft, and there are hand marks on the top tube and I lost total interest in it from then onwards and stashed it in my loft for a rainy day
It is the bare frame, as seen in pics, but it will include correct seatclamp, XTUN72 BB and front mech. £50 posted. The first photo is the before pic, I took it to prove it was a cindercone not a Hahanna before I sprayed it.
