1992 GT Bravado - FB Marketplace, looks clean and nice

It does look very nice, but it makes me appreciate mine a bit more as it is still the original paint work. I was toying with the idea of getting new decals for it but I'll keep it as it is because it is still original with it's little marks of use. It is a 33 year old bike after all but at a time when GT brought out the best of the best! None of the Bravado's since 1993 were on that same level of ride quality (unless I can be proven wrong) and looks.
Maybe @PhillB can let me ride his later 90's Bravado to convince me otherwise! 😁
But just looking at the specs in the catalogues tell me that the later GT frames weren't the same as the early ones. as the only years that are specifically mentioning the tube sets (for the Bravado, at least) are '92, '93 True Temper and '98 Reynolds 631.
I might be wrong but these three years are the only years that the Bravado would really have been worth buying as the frames were more refined and the best looking of all.
I'm sure they're the only years the Bravado was made.

Will do, it will be the ones that are slightly too big (for me) that will go first... I never did grow that extra 3 inches 😂
I guess the issue I have is knowning that large frames will still fit my short 5' 7" frame after years of riding/racing head-down, arse-up position during the 90s

When I restored that 1988 22.5" Hardrock that I bought only for the groupset I realised it makes a super comfy/upright bike to ride. The downside is negative ball clearance with the top tube! 😬

Anytime my friend !! :D

The '98 Bravado does ride well. But there is also something really nice about those True Temper frames.
Yes, the Psyclone of that period shares the same tubeset but was obviously fillet brazed, but I would expect it to have the same ride characteristics as the Bravado of the same year. both the '92 and '93 models share the same GTX Ultra III (Which I believe was GT's custom tube sets similar to other brands' high end tube sets).
Though I am happy to be corrected if I got it wrong. We're all learning from each other here!😁

Biggest I have is a 21” Breezer Thunder. Which to be fair I did ride a lot until I got some 17/19 inch ones!

So. Yes, they will all fit you 🫣😀
