1992 Giant Granite

I'm just bot same bike for 20 euros almost free.I want to make little retro hardtail ))) you thinks is good idea?

That's entirely up to you, I don't know if I'd spend lots of money on one. It's a pretty low end frame. I keep this about for sentimental reasons and use it for commuting when the weather is crappy.

Help me indentify size of my granite. thanks.maybe is same size like yours?

Hi, yes that's the same size as mine, 16" from the centre of the bottom bracket to the centre of the top tube. I assume that's how they were measured, just because centre to top of the seat tube is something like 17 ⅜" but I'm not 100% sure.

It has a Cromo front triangle and a hi-tensile steel rear end. I would imagine the fork is hi-tensile as well although again I'm not sure. I've never been able to find out much about it. I only think it's from 1992 because someone on here told me, never seen the actual 92 catalogue to confirm it.
It's definitely not light, mine weighs in at 29lb 13oz or 13.5kg and has better kit than originally specced. 14kg is probably about right.
