I decided to buy a bike for my girlfriend to use. After looking at a couple of C-16R's and GT's, I was offered this little beauty by GT-Steve.

I've always, always loved Alpinestars bikes and I remember my friend having one when we were 13 years old. I was insanely jealous because I had a DB Traverse and it seemed rubbish in comparison :(

Anyhoo, here it is - I'm going to find it difficult to hand it over to my girlfriend! Perhaps I'll just get a second, longer seatpost and use it myself too :) . I'm using GT-Steve's pics (I hope you don't mind, Steve!) because I haven't got the bike yet. It's on it's way to me.

It'll get a full clean and polish (and the reflectors will be removed) as soon as I get it. As you can see from the pictures it's as original as the day it came out of the bike shop (anyone know what tyres they are?) and according to Steve, still rides like a factory fresh bike. I can't wait :):)

Let me know what you think:

Thanks for the comments guys :) - Might need to cut the seatpost down so that it fits my girlfriend (or buy her a shorter one so I can use the one that's on it for when I take it for a spin ;)), but that's all that needs doing to it I think...!

Any ideas on what the tyres are then?

The Tyres are Standard Alpinestars jobbies, can't remember off the top of my head who manufactured them for A-stars, but they are like rocking-horse poo to get hold of.

Tyres are alpinestars TKO's, horrendous performers tbh but totally original.

Looks like you've bagged a minter there.
