My very original & complete '92 Kona Hei Hei early titanium bike, with rare Kona titanium O-Beam seat post too. Being a 20" Kona with its long top-tube geometry; its a bit of a stretch for me to ride with the standard stem (I am 5'11") - so I would say anyone looking to 'buy-to-ride' - it would be spot on for 6' - 6'3" riders - so its one for taller riders 👍 (I'm a 19" Kona man myself, with 18" slightly too small and 20" slightly too big for me)

This Hei Hei Still in fanstastic condition throughout, with no dents or damage to the titanium tubes, the declas are all intact too
Its still wearing its correct Impact headset, Kona Stem, saddle, Kona bars, and correct Project2 fork (for non-suspension geometry)
All the Joe Murray accessories from the same Kona year book (Joes: toe-clips, bar ends, bottle cage and brake boosters)

Period correct DeoreXTII groupset including pedals, thumb-shifters and separate 2-finger brake levers, XT loose ball BB axle and transmission: XT mechs, chain, cassette and chainrings & cranks

A very nice wheelset with built around mint Rigida Ceramic-coated rims, DeoreXT gum-hood Q/R levers, with black DeoreLX hubs and fitted with a brand new pair of period Kona tyres that have not been ridden on yet.

A wonderful bike from the period, I have enjoyed having this bike hung on the wall in my collection for around 20 years now. Light marks in the black paint on the bar-ends and fork blades 'patina': as they are not repainted. This early Kona is about as good as you will find an original bike from the period.

Frame stamped on the BB "Made in USA, B20370" - so I understand this to mean its a 20" and possibly the 37th, 70th or 370th off the Lynskey ti-works production line (who I believe Kona out-sourced ti frame production to?). I am not entirely sure how they arranged their nomenclature on frame nos. or what the letter B signifies?

worth every penny of its now £1950 asking price on here to any Kona fan that remembers the 1992 catalogue and first year of their ti bikes - viewing and collection from Herne Bay, Kent (or boxed delivery either in person if I can, or at cost, typically £40 to UK mainland addresses)

Reduced prices to feature 3 options

FREE
if you have a 19" frame you would like to swap
or £1250 and £1750 price point options which I still maintain a reasonable for such a rare early ti Kona
and dont forget the full bike £1750 option includes the genuine titanium Kona O-Beam seat post in excellent condition - that I have been offered £250 for by itself, along with over £100-worth of perfect new old stock period Kona rubber.

Ideally I'd like an identical bike in 19" frame so I can ride it, so I'm really hoping there is someone out there with and equally perfect one they would like to swap for my 20" HeiHei if they want something just slightly larger to fit them 🤞

Thanks for looking and "Have a nice ride"
