Beautiful. First bike I drooled over in my LBS bitd..

They were a bit more ££ than that new, from memory, and at least the price has halved from what it was the last time I saw it on ebay a few months ago..

Wish I could justify it...

oh crap,wish i hadn,t looked at this.a guy was selling one of these just round the corner from me about 18 months ago,it was his dad's old bike in almost new condition (nipples still on tyres) with a receipt from the lbs for iirc over 2 grand with a couple of upgrades.he wanted £150 and i walked away from it - i still cant sleep at night :cry:

I remember when this first came onto ebay it was absolutely silly money, it still is but at least not as silly as before.

I think its in gorgeous condition, i loved it back in the day too.., id need to bin the tyres though, amber walls for me.

Black Graftons and an RS1 would look stunning on this.

If anyone is looking I have a couple of these for sale (frames mostly) one purple 8700 and one yellow 8900.

I even have an RS1 that could be made to work with the 8900, which would be the correct vintage for the fork.
