This might sound like a dumb question but cant you take some from a bmx frame?

must admit i have not specifically removed any from a bmx frame but have tried various different ones including from a 94 zaskar and non fit the threads on the 91 frame.

Yeah, surely U Brakes would share the same boss? I would gamble and say BMX would fit - buy and try
