1991 GT Zaskar brake bosses wanted

Wanted ... rear brake bosses for a 1991 GT Zaskar, i have a complete bike waiting to be re-assembled, the only part i am missing is the rear bosses,
i have tried bosses from a 94 zaskar and they have a finer thread, the thread on the 91 is much coarser but as yet i am unsure of size or pitch
if anyone can provide this information i would be grateful as emails to gt have been ignored .

hmm, i think the holy grail would be easeier to find , currently looking into having some made.

You'll hear nothing off GT, they're nor interested unfortunately. In cases like this, it's always good to have a donor bike if you want the genuine bits.
Or get them made up if you don't mind non genuine.

these brake bosses are meant to be for u-brakes. guess it's worth a try, but better check the exact threat first. good luck saving this zaskar

I've seen a person selling them on eBay made from titanium but never bought them as I was afraid to remove the old ones on my bikes

I found the listing on eBay and the seller is still selling them but I wasn't able to find a listing number or an URL to copy. I can tell you the sellers id is rhou8770. If you search on eBay.com type in titanium brake studs in the search field and you should find his listings.
