Really amazed how they complete transform the look of a bike.

Up next will be sourcing front brake plus front and rear mechs

Should be able to cable it all up soon as I have STI units on the way and some temporary M737 mechs I can fit in the mean time.

Proposed full spec to follow

Enough parts sorted now to get the Zaskar cabled up and taken for it's first ride. Still parts to sort especially the wheels.

Front brake all polished up and m900 pads fitted. Better caliper bolts needed

Drivechain all working nicely. I've got an m735 rear mech on route to complete the set up. Oh, and blue chainring bolts to sort.

Control techs may be changed for some silver bars. Not quite sure yet. Stem needs painting. Also the yellow grips ???

The build has come along a bit further.

New wheels now fitted thanks to Kurt (racin'snake). XT hubs on M231cd's lovelyness.

Also a pair of original Dart/Smoke tyres and great condition XT Chainset courtesy of Jeroen (JamisDiablo).
The temporarily fitted XT chainset is now back on the P7.

Also received from Shawn (Shawnb) is a mint XT rear mech.

I also had a pair of turquoise Odyssey Sharkbites knocking about so they were fitted also after a clean up.

Next step is to replace the blue Hope headset and was gifted this AC Component headset. It's missing a few seal and the wedge part which i'm sure I can find something to fit from the spares drawer.
I can't seam to find any info on the headsets anywhere. Has anyone come across these before?

Next job will be to replace the bars for something in silver. The grips also need changing I think. Seatpost to source and finally paint up the stem then I'd say it's pretty much finished; well maybe a bit more anodised turquoise bolts etc...

cheers
Chris
