1991 GT Tequesta

A new year a new project to start

I saw this 1991 GT Tequesta locally and didn't buy it initially, I kept thinking about it and couldn't stand the thought of it being used by some kid sand getting abused so here she is.

First impressions are very good, seems original apart from the saddle and no idea why but the downtube decal area has been masked off and painted white :x

It's running Suntour kit which is nice as I've had little to do with this brand of components.

It's a lovely finish, really great job done by GT.

Frames now cleaned of that horrible white paint and the logo survived.
Given its first polish and come up great

mines got some nics in it etc but polished up nice was a right wreck when I got it dug it out of a recycle yard

Very satisfying giving a bike another chance isn't it

I will be selling this in the spring after a few rides but at least I know it'll go to a retro bike lover and not end up as a wreck/ in the tip.

Wheels cleaned up a treat, hubs spin smoothly but will be cleaned and re greased. Tyres are in fantastic condition and rim walls are barely used.
