who thinks that rear reflector has to go? i despise it!!! rear tire is shot. has a bulge in the sidewall. will put some modern tires on it for starters.

Reflector = no

hi mikee
other than a pedal around the block, no i haven't ridden it yet. that back tire is nasty with the bulge. guess it was fouling the rear brakes so the guy jerked with the pads and now don't work. also when rear brake is applied that dohickey that holds brake cable torques over and the bolt rubs in the tire. good thing it's pointing towards front of the bike or it could be disasterous.
so it sits for now. got too many projects on the go right now.

Curious if this project was ever finished. This is one of my dream vintage bikes.

Does anyone know if this is the first mass produced full suspension bikes? Offhand I cannot remember any before this 1991 frame. Treks started up in 1992.

hi
shamefully i haven't even looked at this one since i brought it home. :oops:
now it's so far back behind others i fear it is doomed never to re-appear. :oops: :oops: :facepalm:
but thanks for asking.
