I picked up this museum quality SE2000 as well as an SE1000 in a combo deal. There are no marks or blemishes on this bike. It was kept in a dark basement therefore the green and pink aren’t faded in the slightest. The asking price was a bit out of my budget but reasonable. I made an affordable offer and was able to secure them!! Only thing I need to do is get the correct seatpost and saddle on it. Excited to get that much closer to the complete 1991 cannondale MTB lineup. Hope you all enjoy! I’ll post it’s little brother separately

Wow! Love these bikes. 😍😎

Such amazing condition. Good luck hunting down original seatpost & saddle, funny how these things got changed when it was barely used. Assume the Ringlé seat QR isn’t original?

Looks brand new, chainset hasn't got any markings on it. And not the cheapest parts either.
Good find.
Thanks! All OG which shocked me but not in this condition. It was an old couple and clearly bought them and never rode them.

Agreed! Like you said, the tough part is going to be finding them in the condition of the bike. I have a turbo and which was OG. Shockingly, ringle was actually original! They used them in 91 on their flagship bikes like the omegas and 2000’s

That’s cool that the Ringlé was an original part! Oh yes, the Omega’s...

I really do love the SE2000. Never owned a full susser and only got front suspension in 2013!

When this came out it looked amazing. Love the colour ways and the fact that it just had a Flexstem, the look would be ruined with suspension forks! I guess this and the Serotta built Proflex both looked equally right, but the Cannondale has a big visual spring on the back that makes it look like it really works!
