I remember reading about that bike in magazines at the time, and being in awe of how Doug had thought about it, down to the last detail.

Surely those are super early Paul QR's front and rear, rather than Ringle?

Which makes them even cooler, in my book.

Not sure I've seen them before with the American Classic-style circlip fastener.

But if you want Ringles, you should definitely get some and sell me those Paul's! ;)

They certainly do look like Paul's vs. Ringlé. Not sure you're gonna' get to buy them though! 😜🤣

I'm sorry I missed this, these are the original QRs that Doug had on the bike and can be seen in some of the early marketing photos.
