I have one of these bikes and have not been able to find any information about them on line. They do not appear in the mid 90s Amtrax catalogue which I guess would be about the time they were manufactured. Can anyone assist with info about them please ? Were many manufactured ?

Do you mean M-Trax, which is the brand of Raleigh that ran from approx 1994/5-1998, which replaced the fabled Dyna-Techs that ran from approx 1991-1994? The dual suspension M-Trax models came in from around 1996/1997 if i remember rightly, could you post a picture to assist me with info for you please? Some of these models had a hotrod style flame design/tribal paintwork in them.

if you simply google 'Raleigh M-Trax Full Suspension' as I just have, you'll get a host of pics and info.

Yes, I did mean M-Trax - lapse of concentration. Unfortunately I am not able to post a picture of the bike but I can describe it. The frame is the same as that shown in the picture posted by 'Jimo 746' under the title 'My M-Trax full-bounce frame and forks....' to be found by googling 'Raleigh M-Trax Full Suspension' as you suggested. Mine has white painted 'RockShox Indy C' forks, a 'RockShox rear suspension unit with an exposed red spring, a red painted frame with a Raleigh metal badge on the headstock and 'M-Trax' decals on the front downtube, a black painted rear pivoting triangle produced from square section aluminium alloy welded to upper and lower adapters (nicely machined to remove surplus metal) with the lower adapter connected to a pivot point very close to the bottom bracket and the upper linked to the suspension unit by two straight chromium plated arms (again machined for weight reduction) which pivot at the mid point of the seat tube, an 8 speed cassette and triple chainwheel plus period Shimano gear and brake components. All of these appear to be the original fitted parts. The bike certainly does not give the impression of one that was cheap to produce which is possibly why numbers might be limited and information hard to come by.
