Looking good,

Full black XT would look way cool with the pearl paint, shame (in one sense) the hubs are silver and came up so well

Cheers Retro Spud,yeah i would've thought specialized would've went with the black hubs instead of silver,they would go well with the black cantilevers what they put on as standard.

Looks great, but get the dork disc off!

It's the original shimano one what came standard with the bike so it stays,i'll leave it upto the new owner to remove dorky disc after it goes up for auction when it's finished

Very nice. I had one just like that for about a week until some scrote nicked it from the garage. Replaced with an Alpinestar Cro-mega.

Are you selling it off when you've built it?

Great to see your restoration making good progress, I had the same model 5 years ago and now have a "91" Stumpy Comp I am refurbishing.

Yeah,now i've got the 1990 Explosif to restore this will be looking for a new owner once it's all finished.
