Hello all,

Not been on here in some time. Truth be told, I have somewhat fallen out of love with the Retro scene and prefer a more modern steed, though I am still found riding my trusty 97 Kili retromod, I do like a modernised ride. Anyway, With this in mind, and with storage being a bigger problem by the day, I am moving on the Muddy Fox that I bought from this very forum. Pictures can be found in my signature.

It is a started project and as such is in a disassembled state. However, don't let this put you off, I have cleaned and polished everything (except the wheels, I am half way through those!) so it is all but ready for reassembly.

That said, I will point out the following: the headset was utterly shagged when I got it. I have replaced it with a Ritchey one but the numpty in the bike shop split the crown race when fitting it and CRC have sold out of the one I used, so you will need to source a 1" headset with a ~33mm stack. I will supply the new one with the cracked crown race to the buyer for reference. The seatpost is heavily scarred from years of god only knows what, so the perfectionists on here might want to replace it, but is it perfectly functional. The cables were mullered too, so I have bought brand new shimano sets for about £30. These can be included at a bargain price to sweeten the deal.

Dimensions: Seat tube is 53cm C2T, 50cm C2C (20.5" & 19.5"), top tube is 58cm C2C (22.5") C2C. Stem is a 150mm affair. Further measurements and pictures can be sent upon request.

Not looking to profit from this one, I paid £50 delivered so I am happy to offer it to you folks for £40 given there are no cables to go with it and the headset is dead unless you find a crown race to replace the broken one. If you want the new cables too, then please add £15 to this, I think that is reasonable.

Dont be shy too, if you think I am off the mark then please let me know via PM or email. I could do with the space and cash so I am fairy negotiable.

Any questions, please ask!

Dan

Dude, it's brighter than the photos give it credit for, you will struggle to hide it! I am amazed it doesn't glow in the dark to be honest.

I'm counting on it being bright, It's going to be having a bit of an upgrade and then it will be sent out on my weekly club runs for regular night time mud plugging.
