1990 Merckx Corsa Extra

Another lovely bike that I sold before moving back to California. This is a Team Weinmann Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra with full Campagnolo Athena. It was in just stunning shape and the paint was phenomenal....ride-wise, I think I preferred the 3Rensho I just posted.

But that all said, another vintage beauty for your perusal!

Nice bike in superb condition.

I've got a Merckx Team Kelme Corsa Extra that I bought a couple of years ago as a frameset and built up with Campagnolo Chorus 10 speed. It is really nice to ride, much better than my aluminium frame Cannondale.

Yeah, the stem was an unexpected yet favorite part of the build. Different shape all together, but sort of reminded me of another favorite, the Nitto I-Beam, that I have had on my Venus from time to time: http://velospace.org/node/5715
