I still can't believe it but i really found a matching single pedal. I was very close to giving up the search and simply buy a complete pair for crazy money.
It's like Wyclef Jean said: "The good things come to those who wait."
I'm really happy today. :)
So there is only one piece missing. ➡️ The seatpost.

Love is...
...when your girlfriend buys you a seatpost for your birthday. :D
So now i am the proud owner of a TAQ 33 aluminum patent seatpost.

I have also bought a Ritchey Vector Plus Rail saddle a while ago which looks superbe..at least to me.

Since there were no parts missing i spent the whole night with stuff like cable adjustment, missing tools, the idiots guide to set up a front mech and of course searching for all that little stuff that has to be somewhere around here like link wires and so on...

..and finally this build is finished. 8)

It's raining outside but i gotta go now ride my bike :!:

Will do a complete list of the parts later..

Thx for the comments.

@Chris: It was a slow first try out ride. All the time i thought i had forgotten to tighten something and i was ready to take a free flight over the handlebar :-)
But there is nothing else to report that the bike rides really well.
I was surprised that the shifting really works spot on.
The bike is doing fine..but i'm out of order..got a bad cold from riding in the rain.

More pics coming soon.

Marin

Looks fantastic
Ive got my old Bear Valley set up as a single speed uban assault type of thing but seeing yours might go for a full restoration :D

@blinky: It's nice to read that my bike inspires someone to do something else than to put on sunglasses. :)
