Good old autsol and elbow grease

Cracking job you've done with your Explosif,looks mint. I prefer that colour to the black you could get it in. You should put a thread up for it.

Quick update on the project.

Got my project two's,cheers for that OldFatTi. Just need a quiet time at work to get them to the paint shop. I'm going with the black XT canti's and i've ordered my NOS XT,slr 2 fingered levers to go with the black canti hangers i've just got off racer x cheers mate. Next thing i'm undecided with is to go with a silver or a black headset.

A nice way to finish the week at work with some nice parts for the Explosif. It's been a lot of years since i've seen brand new in the box XT II stuff,thank you cycleclinic
Hopefully tomorrow the paint shops open and i can drop the forks off to be splatted,then the bike will start to come together.

It's amazing what people have hidden away. Just been at my mates and was telling him about the build and that i was going for Deore XT. He disappears and comes back with these

Just come home from work to find some more nice parts have arrived for the project Some brand new Tioga tange prestige bars a Shimano cassette and a mint condition Deore XT chainset. I'm going try out all the combinations regarding the 2 XT chainsets by swapping chainrings etc,i'll take some photos.
