1989 Team Marin

Old School Hero
1989 Team Marin - frame is sound (as far as I can tell) with no dings or dents, but definitely in need of a respray as it has lots of chips and rust patches. Tange Cro-Mo forks look to be in better cosmetic condition. Stem and colour-matched bars (scratched around the grips), I assume to be original Marin kit. Groupset is all XT 88 or 89 as far as I can tell and seems largely in good condition.
Hubs: HB-M730/FH-M732 on Araya RM20 - front hub seems fine, rear has slight play.
Brake levers: BL-M733
RMech: RD-M732
FMech: FD-M732
Shifters - XT thumbies SL-M732
Cantis: BR-M732
Chainset: FC-M730 46/26/28 biopace rings (little ring wear, tapers are fine)
Headset: XT (I've taken it apart and greased it and it runs OK, but the outer seal on upper race seems perished)
BB - Shimano (not had it apart, and only turns reluctantly).
There's also a pair of Exage beartrap pedals.
Note: Seatpost and saddle are absent. Tyres are a random pair of semi-slicks.
Size seems large or XL: TT 23in, ST 19.5in, DT 25in, Fork 16in

I'm looking for £250 plus postage. Bike is in Jersey, if that helps or hinders...

Marin sizes are bigger. They measure to center of top tube. My 17.5" M '92 team Marin has a 23" top tube. Super stretched

Your measurements are alwas from mid to mid?
But I can see at the space between top tupe an down tupe in the front (headsettube) that the frame ist so big fpr me.

What a pity :-(

Yep, measurements centre to centre. I have a measurement for the headtube somewhere, but my feeling was that it was a bit odd, there's a lot of material either side of the point at which the down and top tubes join the head tube.
