1989 Orange Formula - pic update

Sorry had to have my tea!

Picked it up today - totally stoked with the result. D)

Carl's eagle eye is right - decals are a bit bigger that the ones before the repair but these 'originals' weren't original as the frame had had a pretty major repair to a ripped out bottle boss as some stage in its life. Kevin ended doing the decals himself and spent a fair amount of time sizing them to what he thought was right which took an extra week of agonising waiting.....

The orange colour is really hard to photograph - it is 'fluorescent pearlescent' and has a sort of silky sheene while at the same time being retina burning. The pearlescent makes the fillets melt....

So hopefully its ready for another 23 years.....

He did a great job on the fades too - much better than Argos did on my Ritchey.

Last few for now, will start the build tomorrow :D
